The FT Control for YAESU application offers a sophisticated software-defined radio (SDR) client tailored for iPad users, enabling detailed control and operation of selected YAESU transceivers. Designed to maximize the functional potential of the FT-710, FTdx-10, and FTdx-101 (D or MP) models, this app facilitates seamless local and remote operation via internet connectivity.
KEY FEATURES
- Full Control Anywhere: Enables operation of your YAESU transceiver remotely, whether at home or abroad, through the YAESU SCU-LAN10 network interface connected to the transceiver.
- Integrated Digital Modes: Supports FT8, FT4, CW, and Weather FAX directly within the app, eliminating the need for third-party software.
- Logging: Provides comprehensive logging capabilities with automatic entry, along with ADIF import and export options.
- Dual VFO and Waterfalls: Allows management of dual VFO settings and real-time waterfall displays for precise frequency analysis, subject to transceiver compatibility.
- DX-Cluster and Alerts: Integrates DX-Cluster data and customizable alerts for specific callsigns, DXCC entities, states, or other criteria.
- Visual and Interactive Features: Displays radio spots on waterfalls, band limits, and geographic callsign locations complete with directional information.
- CW Operation: Offers specialized CW functionalities including remote CW transmission via keyboard or hardware paddle connected through CTR2/MIDI Controller, extending beyond YAESU's standard features.
REQUIREMENTS
- An YAESU FT-710, FTdx-10, or FTDX-101 (D or MP)
- A YAESU SCU-LAN10 interface
- The transceiver must be connected to the SCU-LAN interface
- The SCU-LAN interface should be connected to your local network
- No USB cable is necessary or supported
- An iPad running iOS 18 or later
